Hey-yo! I'm Steph a.k.a. "Tank". If you are visiting my page you've likely already met me / are my friend. Thanks for taking a look at my first Blog! Here is the 4-1-1... shoot me questions and I'll be happy to add more. 

My Family

Middle child of 3 girls. My last name is Tancous which is Czech for "dancer". Most people butcher the pronunciation, so friends just call me "Tank". 

My Faith

I am a born-again Christian that has been blessed with discipleship leaders that have helped grow my faith to this pinnacle of embarking on the World Race. These include, my Mom & Dad, (sisters) Emily & Natalie, Nancy Hobstetter, my High School youth group & youth group leader Pete LeBorious, best friends Wesley-Anne, Abby & Kimmy, Campus Crusade for Christ leaders at OSU, and my post-college Haiti mission trip team.

Currently I attend both Grace Church Medina East (near my hometown in Akron) & King's Church near my current residence in Lakewood. 

My Hobbies

 Orangetheory Fitness classes, stand-up paddle boarding, indoor rock climbing, & soccer.

Volunteering Interests

I volunteer with Rahab Ministries as a mentor in their Minor Mentor program. Prior to that I was a volunteer with the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter.

My Passions

Connecting with friends, helping people achieve their fitness goals, and feel stronger emotionally & physically. I enjoy exploring the outdoors and traveling both in & outside the U.S. I love endurance training and competing. I’ve had the opportunity to run 7 marathons, over 14 half marathons & 2 sprint triathlons. 

Career

Some say you either "work to live or live to work"... I  had previously fell into the former until I was able to connect my passion for fitness & helping others at Orangetheory.
